Service Description

AC duct cleaning involves using powerful vacuums and specialized brushes/air tools to dislodge and remove dust, debris, and contaminants from your entire HVAC system (ducts, vents, furnace components) by creating negative pressure, ensuring particles are captured and not released into your home. The process includes inspecting, cleaning vents and main ducts, and often cleaning the air handler, using HEPA filtration to trap debris. The Duct Cleaning Process Inspection & Preparation: Technicians inspect your system, seal off vents (except the one they're working on), and disconnect the ducts from the furnace. Negative Pressure: A powerful, HEPA-filtered vacuum is connected to the main trunk line to create negative pressure, preventing dust from escaping into your home. Agitation & Removal: Vents & Branch Ducts: Vents are removed, and tools like rotating brushes or air whips are used to dislodge dust from individual ducts. Main Ducts: Brushes and air tools are inserted into the larger trunk lines to loosen stubborn debris. Source Removal: All loosened dirt is continuously pulled into the powerful vacuum system. HVAC Unit Cleaning: The blower motor, evaporator coil, drain pan, and other parts of the air handler unit are also cleaned. Final Steps: Vents are reinstalled, filters changed, and the system is checked for proper function.
